Decorating a Boys Room

I have returned from vacation with decorating inspiration.  Our family spent a few days skiing in Vermont and I was so inspired by the vintage skiing posters, exposed beams, animal hide ottomans and slate floors. 

I think I am going to take this inspiration and update my 8 year olds room.  These are some of my ideas...

I love the wood accent wall, vintage maps and tree mural in this room.

This desk with the industrial bins for storage would be a great DIY project.

Vintage leather suitcases would make a great night stand and could also be used to store all of those legos.

 

Now to set this plan into motion...I will keep you posted.
