Christmas Front Door Decoration

I'm on my second try with my front door decoration.  I started with the traditional wreath.  It was cute, but my wreath was dead in 2 weeks.  I guess our warm December days haven't helped.  I was tring to keep it up as long as I could, but I caved yesterday.  I started rummaging through old magazines to find a decorating alternative.  I came across this one from last year's Country Living Magazine.  So here is mine...I think mine needs something...Snow?
